Did you think I forgot about you? I didn't! I've been working hard on a couple of projects as well as getting things together for my son's first birthday. Lots of fun events coming up!
That's right, my son is almost one and up until last month, we still had not had professional photos taken of him (besides those taken in the hospital when he was born.) My mom was asking me for months when I was going to get on that. But when you have a child with different health issues/needs, getting those needs figured out and met first takes priority. Everything else tends to get put on the back burner.
Last month we FINALLY had our pictures taken. We decided to use a professional photographer rather than a portrait studio. It feels more modern and fun to me. Normally I am not too excited about getting my pictures taken professionally. It usually feels posed, stiff, and a little awkward. But this experience was much different and it's all thanks to the photographer we used.
Charishma of Charismatiq Photography was great at letting us interact with each other naturally and capturing the beauty in those moments. This makes for better pictures as well, in my opinion. We had so much fun and were so comfortable during the entire session. My son is a little stubborn but Charishma was great with him and finally got him smiling and hamming it up for the camera.
The best part - her services are affordable and often less expensive than those portrait studios. She doesn't overcharge and you definitely get quality photos. She offers hour long sessions that start at $150 and she offers 30 minute sessions starting at $75. Mention Mommy Diaries Of a Florida Mom and get $10 off of either of these services!
And now for a little touch of beauty news. I joined the BzzAgent campaign for the Foreo LUNA Mini. I wanted to document the beginning of my experience with it and then update towards the end of the campaign to see if there are any visible results. If you've ever wanted to see what I REALLY look like, now's your chance. Watch the video below :o)
