MAC Cosmetics Review by a (Mommy) MAC Junkie

I am SO excited about this next review.  You may have already gathered, I am a HUGE fan of MAC Cosmetics.  They tend to be my go-to cosmetic brand.  I first bought MAC make-up a few years ago to use on my  wedding day (because I don't like using make-up that has been used on others) and fell in love with the quality and feel of the make-up.  I've been using it ever since.

The people at MAC were so great and sent me a few samples to review. Yes, during crazy Fashion Week. Love them!  No surprise here, these products did not disappoint and will be added to my make-up routine.

Cremeblend Blush in Brit Wit

The first product I wanted to try was the Cremeblend Blush.  A long time ago, in high school, I used Revlon's Cream blush.  I liked that it was easy to blend but it did come off a little greasy and didn't stay very long on my skin, which is why I stopped using it.  When I saw MAC's Cremeblend Blush I was very excited!  I love MAC's powder blush but longed for a product that reminded me of my "make-up roots" but with the quality of my "grown-up" make-up routine.  This blush is definitely everything I thought it would be and more.  It goes on smooth, blends extremely easily, and leaves a very natural finish.  No more oily cheeks!  Love this blush and will definitely be using it often.

Prep + Prime BB Beauty Balm Compact In Medium Plus

As I've stated before, I try to reserve full on foundation for special occasions and nights out.  That being said, I am a big fan of tinted moisturizers and BB creams year-round.  Unfortunately, I have yet to find a BB product I am completely satisfied with. Until now.  First of all, I LOVE this idea.  BB Balm in a compact.  The balm keeps the product from being too cake-y or too oily.  The compact makes this product easy to carry in your purse and travel with.  Tubes of make-up always worry me when traveling, since a few times the change in the pressure on an airplane has cause a few cosmetic tubes to pop open and leak all over, creating a big mess. Not to mention wasting my precious product! This creative balm compact solves that problem.  The product itself goes on smooth, blends easily, is featherlight while providing a decent amount of coverage, leaving my skin looking naturally flawless.

Pro Longwear Blush in Blush All Day

I was very excited to see MAC also sent me this blush.  I'm beginning to collect blush the way I've collected mascaras and eyeliners in the past. This blush has a very silky texture and feel.  It feels great going on and has a little shimmer to it.  Of course, just like all of MAC's products, it blends very easily.  This blush literally lasted all day.  From early in the morning until my shower in the evening, it did not melt off in the Florida heat, it did not leave where I had applied it.  I would definitely use this for an all day event that requires a full, flawless make-up with minimal touch-up time (perfect for a wedding or graduation event.)

Once again, I am in love with MAC Cosmetics and these products have just cemented my conclusion that using MAC make-up is a worry free solution for my cosmetic needs.  I have never once been disappointed in their products and they continue to be a high quality, inventive brand.

I decided to also do a video (below) for those who prefer to watch reviews and to give you all a look at what these products look like on.
